Hello Families!
Please enjoy some highlights from our week below! "This week we had the Volunteer Tea and choir got to sing some songs about appreciation. As a big group we performed Sasha." Isla "Yesterday we did a hunt for shapes outside. A birds tummy is an oval and we also saw some shapes on the sidewalk (squares)." Emma C "In math we are doing subtraction regrouping. It's where you stack the numbers on top of each other and it's a math equation that is upward and downward." Nahla "In TWAS we are interviewing our parents about their heritage." Charlotte "Some of our butterflies hatched. Five of them hatched and we saw one of their proboscis' sticking out." Clair "In Phys Ed. we are playing badminton. We are learning how to serve and how to hit it underhand. We played with a partner and practiced hitting it back and forth." Audrey and Sebastien "All of our butterflies hatched. We are going to release them to the wild. The last one to hatch was #15." Colton "We played badminton in the gym and we practiced hitting the birdie against the wall. Also, we practiced hitting the birdie up in the air." Levi "For TWAS we are going to interview our Mom and Dad and we are asking about our family heritage. They are going to write the answer next to the question and I wonder what mine will be." Ben "One of our butterflies kept sticking its proboscis out of the net. We put flowers in there and one butterfly was sucking the nectar out of it." Abby "In music we played Boomwhackers and we tried to play two songs. I got to switch and play different Boomwhackers. The Octavator cap makes the sound go lower." Jett "We are making a butterfly story. The storyboard helps you with ideas for your story and it's really fun. My story is about a butterfly that saves the world from and tsunami and a volcano!" Jayden KT Reminders Please return Heritage Park forms and money as soon as possible.
